Need To Know

 

Tell me exactly it is I’m doing wrong,

I just cant figure it out,

Don’t tell me you are leaving,

At least wait till tomorrow,

Give me some time, I need to think,

This shouldn’t be happening,

And no, I'm not pleading,

I just need to know, could I have done anything else,

After all of these years, look at my tears,

I just need to know, is there someone else,

Does she do you much better, Everything that I never did,

I just need to know, did you get fed up,

I'm so much to handle, a beautiful train wreck,

I just need to know, did you love me, cause I sure loved you,

And I just need to know,

Did you let everything go?

If so, what was it that made you do it?

Don’t say I’m wasting your time,

This is the least you can do, before you walk out that door,

I never asked for much, so this shouldn’t be, nothing

Not at all,

There is no getting better,

Once you dropped the sentence, the red flags were let up,

I just hope you know what you’re doing…
