I Say

I don’t care to look that way today
Just gonna turn my cheek
Mother, I’m so sorry, but the pain is too much for me

I don’t reach it when I’m in view of you, or in view of me
It’s buried in the back of my mind
I blame you today, when really, I’m blanking, I have no one to blame

There is no truth
The answer is way too high for this planet
I turned my back on you, but I never planned it
