Blackout

One turn after another, I hit a dead end,

No way to stop this,
I swear, I’m going out of my head,
Take me, Give me some medicine,

Time never seemed better than right now,

Town lights out,

Perfect setting,
With the blackout, I can disappear and when I come back I’ll be me again,

Let me, Go on, Testify,

I’ll take, The stand, Preach to the choir, I’m lost, Get lost,

Shutting, Them Out, I don’t even try,

Keeping, Them Out, Makes me sane, Insane,

I’ve left, But be back another day

One turn after another, Why won’t it end,

There’s gotta be a way to stop this,

I swear, With one move, I’ll find purpose,
Take me, Go on, Give me a try,

I’ve got it all figured out,

That clock is ticking,
Turn the lights out, No face, Just listen,

I put my faith in Your hands,

But I still have to do my own dance,
Not like imagining’s going to fly,

I have no reins on my life,
I’ve got to get through this, With all the confusion,
