Restless spirit, Had a chance to go back on one

But there were no feelings

Such a waste of time

And I don't regret what was in front of me, hidden for no one to see

So no one can even say a thing

It's our secrecy

I just had to know for sure

A hopeful that never made it past square one

I don't know if I miss who I'd once become

Maybe because I've been out of practice for some time

Or really what I'm chasing is mine
