Believe

Believe
You’re a copy, imitating all that you see
For you, it’s hard to be real cause you don’t believe

Getting hurt is for losers, but that’s it, you’re a winner
Showing your face just cannot define a real beauty

The image is everything to you
You sport a cross, knowing you’re a sinner
Taught me symbols ain’t nothing, nor the show you’re fronting

Now both of us are lost, you pulled me down with ya
You created this plastic piece, And I believed

An empty canister is all that is left
A holy bible is pushed to the back on a shelf
Where do these answers be on this earth
You can be told one thing, and that’s not the truth at all
So what are we suppose to believe
Is there any hope?

Look at you, So visionary
I always see you,
Everyone does,
You make sure of that

I waited so long to be next to you,
And when that day came,
One second with you,
The vision was all torn,

The image is everything to you
You sport a cross, knowing you’re a sinner
Taught me symbols ain’t nothing, nor the show you’re fronting

You must be lost, I’m not coming down there with ya
You created this plastic piece, At first I believed

An empty canister is all that is left
A holy bible is pushed to the back on a shelf
Where do these answers be on this earth
You can be told one thing, and that’s not the truth at all
So what are we suppose to believe
Is there any hope?

Some day you’ll get caught,
Trapped up in all your lies
You painted them beautiful,
But that one fateful day is coming soon

You’ll use up all the lies
When you look back, what have you really sacrificed
Everything was handed your way because of your façade

But look at you, So visionary
I don‘t care to see you,
Everyone else does,
You make sure of that…

An empty canister is all that is left
A holy bible is pushed to the back on a shelf
Where do these answers be on this earth
You can be told one thing, and that’s not the truth at all
So what are we suppose to believe
Is there any hope?

I had to let you go…
