Give Me A Reason

Realest part of life is rarely documented, You will never see,
Made a choice to open my eyes, but I’m still struggling,

There’s no way that that happened today, or any other day,
How many innocent lives can one really take, before their soul is stolen?
I lost faith…

Give me a reason, to love this thing called earth,
Roles change like the seasons, and still we haven’t learned,
Not a damn thing, going through the history,
Why won’t You send us some peace, Put us out the misery,

There are boys fighting today, You will never see,
Having to lay down their lives selflessly, but the scene’s on repeat,

Kidnapped of what they’d known, the heart is glowing,
Said it’s the way it has to go, but they’re not the only ones dying,

All is on the battlefield with them,
Think about the little children,
When there’s a victory count, it’s really not a victory at all,

I don’t comprehend the hurt,
Lets just make amends, peace on earth,

I am sick of the crying, always the dying,
These human voices, clinging to hope,
And laughs on the table, they claim “able,”
While shooting them down, Everyone’s around,
But don’t think, We should see the same thing,
