See Me

It’s like an unending thing, Nobody sees the real side of me
It’s my fault, I’m scared of what they’ll think

Beating myself up, Like I have no purpose
And that may be true

Tell me that I am worth it, The risk

Let me scream my feelings out
Go ahead and punish me for what else I have to face,

I’m right here, I’m right here, But I don’t see me,
The mirror, Must be messed up, I can’t see me,
What do I have to do to see me?
Tell me now, I’ll be on my way…

Light is passing through, It’s not really here to stay,
Is that why I can’t see me?
The blackness is what never changed,

It’s like an unending thing, A repeating cycle,
It’s not my fault, I try to run,

But it chases, Me,
Like I have no purpose,
That can’t be true

Tell me that I am worth it, Some risk

I’m right here, I’m right here, But I don’t see me,
The mirror, Must be messed up, I can’t see me,
What do I have to do to see me?
Tell me now, I’ll be on my way…

The Crayola lines are blurring,
They say the picture’s not worth it,
They could lie, They could be right,

I hope I’ll still fight, To see me
No matter the outcome, I want to see me…

I’m right here, I’m right here, But I don’t see me,
The mirror, Must be messed up, I can’t see me,
What do I have to do to see me?
Tell me now, I’ll be on my way…
