Yours & Mine

 

It all built up so fast,

I’m losing all control,

Bad secrets never last,

Would you say you’re my home?

 

I can’t tell you, What is happening,

What you’ve done to me,

What you’ve made me,

 

Would you say that it’s meant to be,

Something’s happening, all on your side too,

Or am I wrong?

Have you made me conjure up that in my mind,

I am yours and only yours,

But you are mine too,

 

You’re still here, Tell me why you’re standing here,

I have to know,

I can’t deal with blank stares,

 

I can’t tell you, What is happening,

What’s taking control of me,

What a mess I’m making,

 

And where would I be today?

If you were non-existent,

 

Change can be a beautiful thing, but terrifying too…
