No More

I’m not waiting for no one,

The grass turns more greener as we go,

 

You may say you’re that someone,

But for us I see no hope,

 

The beat runs steady,

My heart is heavy, And I can’t cry anymore,

Problems telling, If you’re ready,

Ready to take that step,

With me…

 

That’s when I surrender,

And I can’t find the strength to care no more, No more,

Burning the letters, and all the goodbyes that we tried, But lied,

I know this is good for me, After all that I have seen,

You don’t know, You pretend to know…

 

You can’t always have someone,

That is something I must accept,

 

You can’t forever skip the “no’s,”

I can get screwed over in the end,

 

The air’s filled with tension,

I just had to mention, My words, Don’t know how much they mean,

Seems you have intentions, But you won’t hear me question, What this, Really means…

 

That’s when I surrender,

Everything, But it’s fuck my life,

All those years I can’t deny, But I won’t say I let it run my mind, Like you would tell me,

I speak no lies, So have I wasted all my time?
