Running Boy

You’re a runner, You keep running,
You might just trip, So watch out,

Not tryna be the mood killer,
I know you don’t like feelings,
Or feeling, But you have visions, About a life you’re not doing a damn thing about,

How can I deal with such a empty soul,
A ticking time bomb, waiting to explode,
I made my excuse, I walked my path, And look what I found,
A boy so fragile, that puts on a mask, Where are you now?

I told that boy to let someone care,
I urged him, but it fell on deaf ears,
Removed me from the flawed picture,
Can I really complain?
But that don’t change what the boy must face,

You’re gonna have to face it someday,
You can’t keep running away,

You’re a smoker, You keep smoking,
Filling your lungs with poison, You know,
Yeah, you know what you’re doing,
Seeming so useless, You have no hope,
You don’t,

And I was suppose to change that,
Guess I didn’t do my job right,
I will have to take that, With you I couldn’t win a single fight,
Even standing here today, after my hurt has washed away,
You remain the same, It’s a damn shame,

I told that boy to let someone care,
I urged him, but it fell on deaf ears,
Removed me from the flawed picture,
Can I really complain?
But that don’t change what the boy must face,

You’re gonna have to face reality,
Quit your running,
