Temporary

 

I rather stand alone than be hurt again,

And that’s real,

 

I’ll take my chances while you shut me out,

Not the end,

 

We’re puppets hanging on a string,

Cast members a part of a scene,

While some come and go,

In the end, we will know the temporary,

 

Plaster on our face,

Go through the good and the bad,

Try not to lose all control,

In the end, we will know the temporary,

 

Go ahead and have your laughs,

I don’t care what’s your deal,

 

All I’m staring at is my track,

Over the hills,

 

I have no faith in temporary,

Temporary shall not bother me,

 

I have certain words to speak,

But why when they’re temporary?
