It’s down deep in your heart that it tells you not to do it,

But you can’t let go of your pride,

You don’t want them to know what’s really inside,

 

I should’ve known to never go your way,

The flashing red lights were in front of my eyes,

I kept walking, I hit ignore,

Should’ve known what was in store,

 

Why do I end up with guys just like you?

I shouldn’t settle anymore, I deserve better,

When I see a guy just like you, I’ll make sure to keep walking look ahead and remember,
