Stripped

 

Levels and goals incompatible, not like the movie screens,

But nobody knows, Not even us,

 

Doing the impossible, we’re going out of control,

Someone must stop us,

 

Before we crash right towards the ground,

Taking more of us down,

Stripping away, all of the layers, And watching ‘em fade,

 

What’s the use in starting again?

What’s the use, might as well stay friends?

I can save all these teardrops from falling down,

 

Reaching out, but you don’t take my hand,

Everyone around, you’ve got a whole different game plan,

I don’t understand,

 

Completely hooked on the words you sing,

Like a sweet, sweet symphony,

I fall in love, not even knowing,

 

They keep falling down,

With you here or not around,

It’s only worse when you’re around,

Cause we’re in different places…
